Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Environmental Agency http://nea.gov.ge/ge/
and the Georgian Research and Educational Networking Association GRENA. According to the memorandum GRENA in its cloud infrastructure https://www.gcloud.ge/
will provide the National Environmental Agency the following resources 24 core, 64 GB RAM, 10 TB Storage and IT support. Provided resources will be used by the agency for weather forecast and climate change studies.
The memorandum was signed by Andro Aslanishvili Head of the National Environmental Agency and by Ramaz Kvatadze the Executive Director of Georgian Research and Educational Networking Association GRENA.
Establishment of GRENA cloud infrastructure was co-funded by the European Commission in the framework of the EaPConnect project.
